I love a good gift guide.
Giving gifts, to me, is such a fun and personal moment. While I will admit that I’m not the most thoughtful person most days – I tend to forget the small things like flowers or even a small item to let people know I’m thinking about them. I envy my friends who remember to be thoughtful, because those are the times, truly, that mean so much.
While I know giving gifts is not the reason for the holiday celebration, I think it’s a fun way to remind your friends and family that you’re thinking of them. Hopefully this guide will give you some helpful ideas on what to get your loved ones this year!
MY WISHLIST
I have to double underline the word “wishlist” for some of these items. Of course my list is mostly fashion and home related items because that’s where my mind goes 99% of the time. I have been eying the Bottega Jodi Mini bag and this beige Frankie Shop Blazer. I also am obsessed with candles (who isn’t) and always welcome those as gifts. always.
FOR THE MEN
I use to think buying for men was hard and, for my dad, it still is. Buying for my husband, I have found is relatively easy. I tend to take mental notes of things he says he wants over time, but I love that I can also personal shop for him in the fashion department – since he’s pretty laid back with his style. When in doubt, I can always fall back on his hobbies, which are very apparent – gym, cooking, and home improvement.
FOR THE HOMEMAKER
Home gifts are always welcome, in my opinion. Especially with the pandemic, everyone’s stuck at home and wanting to feel comfortable and be able to live in a nice, cozy place. I think all the home decor sites being on back order can be a testament to that! Here are some items I’d love to open, myself, or I have my eye on for some family and friends.
UNDER $50
