If you haven’t guessed by now, I love myself a good low-key casual outfit. There’s just something so classic to a soft oversized button down and ripped high-waisted denim. I’ll even go as far to say that this is one of my favorite looks I’ve shot so far. Yes, it’s super simple; but there’s something that I just love about it.
Even when putting together a classic pairing like this, it’s still so important to me to choose pieces with the right proportions for my body type. If I’m going with tight pants, I usually opt for an oversized or flowy button down. When wearing boyfriend or loose style pants, a more structured or slimmer button down will helps me avoid looking frumpy. What can I say, my height can lead to frumpy real’ quick.
